Theatre Royal Haymarket

Originally known as 'The Little Theatre in the Hay', the Theatre Royal Haymarket is a Grade I listed building, and one of Britain's most treasured theatres.

Designed and constructed in 1720 by John Potter, the Haymarket is the third-oldest playhouse still in use, and strives to produce memorable theatrical experiences.

Since opening, the theatre has seen many theatrical innovations, but is most famous for staging the first scheduled matinee performance, now a staple of the West End. Notable productions in recent years include The Goat, Who is Sylvia? and a production of Venus In Fur, with many stars gracing the Haymarket stage.
